For licensed immigration advisers
If you want your information corrected, updated, or removed from this website and all of our systems, email hello@visapilot.nz from your registered business address. Removal requests are actioned within 5 working days, are permanent, and no justification is required.
1. Where our adviser information comes from
Adviser and lawyer information on this website is compiled from publicly available sources, principally the Immigration Advisers Authority (IAA) public register, which the IAA publishes so that anyone can verify whether a person is licensed to give New Zealand immigration advice. Where an adviser has joined our referral network directly, their listing details are the ones they provided to us.
We do not obtain adviser information from private databases, purchased lists, or any non-public source.
2. What we use it for
- Helping migrants confirm that an adviser holds a current IAA licence
- Helping migrants find licensed advisers by location, visa type, and language
- Forwarding client enquiries to relevant advisers — either advisers who joined our network, or, where no network adviser matches, advisers whose business contact details are publicly listed on the IAA register
Listing an adviser on this website does not mean the adviser is affiliated with, endorsed by, or a client of Visa Pilot, and we never present it that way. This website is not the IAA register and is not affiliated with the IAA or Immigration New Zealand — always verify licence status at iaa.govt.nz.
3. Emails to advisers
When a migrant submits an enquiry and no network adviser matches it, we may notify a small number of advisers whose business email address is publicly listed on the IAA register, because the enquiry is directly relevant to the services they are licensed to provide. Every such email:
- identifies Visa Pilot as the sender
- contains a one-click unsubscribe link that permanently stops all future emails
- links to a page explaining why you received it
Unsubscribing also flags your listing so it is never used for enquiry notifications again.
4. Correcting or removing your listing
Email hello@visapilot.nz with your name and licence number and tell us what you need:
- Correction or update — we amend your details within 5 working days
- Removal — we delete your listing from the website, exclude your details from all enquiry notifications, and add your email address to a permanent suppression list. Removed profile pages permanently redirect to the official IAA public register so search engines drop them promptly; we also request removal of stale results from Google. Removal is permanent unless you ask to be re-listed.
Search engines may continue to display a cached copy of a removed page for a short period. This is outside our control, but the permanent redirect and our removal requests make it brief — if you spot a stale result, tell us and we will submit a removal request for that URL.
